Out of the Mist

Out of the Mist upon first glance seems like a simple composition of broad areas of color. Upon closer scrutiny, there is much underlying or subtle mark making to keep your interest. The main color of blue in various shades gives a calming effect as well as the off-white neutrals. The bold line work and pops of orange and yellow counterbalance the simple composition and color palette. This painting will be shipped unstretched in a tube. Most framers will be able to stretch it onto wooden bars. The image shown is cropped to the stretched size. The painting does continue to the ends of the canvas, so the edges will be painted after stretching.
